When a FTSE 100 Company in the UK wanted to think about what to do with a famous subsidiary operating in a declining market, they called in the world's leading management consulting firm - and GIN.
GIN put together some great minds that included people like Theodore Zeldin - "one of the 100 most important thinkers in the world today" (Magazine Litteraire). Other brains included an ex Prime Ministerial advisor, a scientist specialising in the study of genius, one of the world's leading industrial designers, a journalist, a lawyer, an organisational psychologist, an investment banker and an e-commerce entrepreneur.
We then conducted a series of internal company interviews, dug into the history of the company (which included talking to a previous owner), looked at industry trends and innovations and ran workshops with loyal, infrequent and lapsed customers.
